About Us

Puente de Hózhó (PdH) Elementary School is a trilingual language school and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Candidate School located in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona. As part of the Flagstaff Unified School District, PdH is proud to offer two dual-language programs: a Navajo Immersion Program and a Spanish-English Bilingual Program.

Serving students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, PdH is dedicated to nurturing multilingual, culturally aware learners. A 6–12 IB Continuum is also in development to further support and extend our unique programming beyond the elementary years.

The mission of Puente de Hózhó Elementary School is to build a “bridge of beauty” between speakers and learners of Diné (Navajo), Spanish, and English and empower children to be multicultural and multilingual stewards of the world.
